The Principal at Moratuwa Princess of Wales is to be taken before courts for not taking precautions in the spreading of dengue
The whole island had been made aware of the dengue threat and the public who would not abide by these rules will be punished accordingly. The Public Health Inspectors of Moratuwa and the Air Force officers of Area 10 attachment have filed a case against the Principal of Moratuwa Princess of Wales College for not taking appropriated action to stop spreading of dengue.
Accordingly, Ms D.S.N Jayathunga, the Principal of Princess of Wales College had been called to be before Moratuwa courts tomorrow morning. PHI Aruna Kumara had made an observation that the concrete slab of a building that is under construction gathers water on the surface of the floor. It had been neglected letting the mosquitoes spread faster and it had become a threat both to the school children and to the people surrounding area of the school.
There had been another complaint against the Principal, Ms D.S.N Jayathunga some time ago for selling the wood cut from trees in the school premises and an investigation was lead by a Minister with that regard.
